Cozy Up Around Your Pavers Firepit This Winter
This winter, enjoy a firepit made of paving stones. As a best pavers installer in Los Angeles, we have built firepits for homeowners throughout the area. With comfortable California winters, there is no need to be stuck indoors. While the majority of the country is bundling up in thick coats, hats and gloves, we can enjoy the great outdoors year-round without the winter attire.
Still, it can become chilly in the evening, and this is where a pavers firepit comes in. At Go Pavers, we can use patio pavers to create a smooth surface and outdoor living/entertaining area. We can then use paving stones to build a customized firepit for your family to enjoy. The benefit of pavers is that they can be arranged in any pattern or shape that you like. This means that you can have a small round firepit or a large rectangular or oval shaped one with seating. We recommend that you opt for a larger space that allows for entertaining so that you can get the maximum enjoyment out of the area. This way you and your friends can stay cozy this winter while still spending time outside.
When you meet with one of our project managers, let us know if you are considering adding a pavers firepit to your landscape design. We can then discuss how many people will be using it and whether or not you want seating, so that we can design one with the perfect dimensions. You can then browse through our pavers collection with your project manager or view our inventory online in order to select the perfect texture and shade for your style preference.
After you have finalized the design and materials that you want to use, one of our project mangers will visit your home with our crew in order to start the project. We will first, create a flat surface using patio pavers. You want this to be large enough to allow for people to walk around and prevent the fire’s embers from accidentally landing on the grass. This step starts with excavating the earth six to eight inches. A gravel base is then laid and compacted. Finally, paving stones are placed on top of the base and arranged in the desired pattern. Once in place, fine sand is poured in between the stones in order to secure them in place. Afterward, we clean and inspect the area.
When your surface area is ready, we can go to work building your pavers firepit. It is important to work with an experienced team of professionals when undergoing a more complicated project, such as this. As a top rated pavers contractor, all of our project managers have been trained and certified by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute. This means that they are truly the best in the industry for understanding how materials work together, how to properly install and maintain pavers, and the best practices that ensure the job is completely with precision. This enables us to create more complex structures using paving stones while ensuring that the results are simply beautiful.
